We do love him...

I feel horrible that the last few posts (besides the one of Brixton smiling) haven't had any baby pictures...My mom keeps saying "put up some baby pictures!"  So then I really realized what a slacker I have been....so yes everyone.  We do love our baby...here are a few pics to prove it!

I absolutely love this picture....just look at this little guy staring up at his Daddy

So far, Damon has been an amazing big brother
What?  An actual picture of the mom?
There is a story behind this one and the one below.  I was trying SO hard to get a cute picture of Brixton, but he's not the most photogenic quite yet, and I got a ton of pictures similar to the one above, a lot of weird faces, tongue, squinty eyes...etc..He absolutely would not smile for me. Then Mike get s home, walks over to him....and ta dah....see the picture below.  This is what Mike gets...I got about 6 pictures of him smiling back at Mike.  Not fair!

Sweet Damon climbed up and cuddled w/ his brother, held his little hand, and totally fell asleep.  I thought it was so adorable.  He sure loves this little baby.

So sweet!

Annapolis!

Last weekend we went on a little family outing (they seem rare these days)  to Annapolis, MD.  Mike has been there a few times, but for some crazy reason, after almost 5 years of living in Maryland...I hadn't!  We had a great time walking around checking out the boats, and we went on a tour boat that went around the Chesapeake Bay.  Damon even got to steer the boat!  There are no pics of little Brixton, because thankfully, he slept in his car seat almost the entire time we were there.

With two kids, one being 2 months old,  it seems like our Saturday's usually consist of Mike taking off with Damon somewhere and giving me some quiet time at home with the baby, but really the best part of this outing was just doing something together as a family.

So pretty!

I just loved the clouds!

It's Starting.....

Okay, I know this isn't the greatest picture but....is there anything better than when your baby starts to smile back at you!?!?

Golf Golf Golf

My boys love their golf....absolutely love it.  Mike and Damon always ask me to go with them to watch them hit balls, and I used to dread it.  It was cause for more than one argument around here... but now that Damon is actually pretty good, it's actually pretty entertaining for me to go with them.

Butterflies!

Last month we went to an awesome play group outing to the Brookside Gardens Butterfly Exhibit.  Thanks to my awesome mom for watching Brixton so that Damon and I were able to get out together.  It was a super hot humid day, and even more humid in the conservatory, but it was totally worth it.   Butterflies were EVERYWHERE!  It was amazing.  There was a case of cocoons, and you could watch butterflies breaking out of their cocoons right in front of us.  It was so cool to watch.  I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I should have ...and thanks to Jackie for the cute picture of Damon and Elise.

Damon so serious, really staring down those butterflies

Happy Belated Father's Day!

I feel bad that I never did a post for my sweet husband on Father's Day.    Things are finally starting to calm down around here and I can almost think straight.

Mike is an ambitious, adventurous, smart, hard working, dedicated, and loving guy.   I truly feel blessed that he is in my life, and I feel very lucky to be the girl that he married.   He's an amazing Dad, and nothing melts my heart like watching him walk in the door from work and scoop up our little baby boy into his arms, or to watch him and Damon walk out of our home together on their way to their next outing....golfing, bike rides, slurpees, or just going on errands together.  He hasn't once ever complained about taking Damon with him anywhere.   He loves his boys so much and I feel lucky to have two great little kids with him.  I love you sweetheart!

I love checking him out from across a room, and thinking "wow! what a babe! "
