Job Hunt

No..No...not for us. But my brother-in-law, David, is on a job hunt. The following is a summary of his resume:

Education
B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management.

Work Experience
I have completed a Purchasing Internship and worked on contract as a Supply Chain Analyst.
I served a mission in Hong Kong where I learned to speak Cantonese.

Objective
Seeking employment within the Supply Chain Field: purchasing, logistics, forecasting, and operations. Also open to any field or industry that would give me experience.

Trip to Myrtle Beach....duh duh duh....

The following are the ONLY pictures that I have from our week long trip to Myrtle Beach.....as most of you know....I had a bit of bad luck during the trip, with my diaper bag being stolen right off of my beach chair....which of course, had my camera in it. So here are the only pics from the trip....(taken from cell phone)

Damon's Skate Park Birthday Party

Damon's birthday was at the end of June, but his party was a little delayed, and we just celebrated with his friends last weekend. We rented out a skate park (not my idea, although it all worked out fine), and all of his little friends brought bikes, scooters, skate boards, and whatever else they wanted to ride around on.....

It was ridiculously hot and humid....as expected in mid-July in Washington DC....but the kids didn't seem to mind!

Realization

I've recently had a realization, and a good chat with someone special in my life, that I can not expect happiness to find me. I need to work for it, make better choices, be more patient, be a better mom, wife, friend, and human being.

I need to take care of me, find my path, remember that I am a worth it, and take everything with a grain of salt.

I need to work harder, be more real, and love more.
