Best Friends!

Just wanted to a little post about Damon and the little girl, Taylor, who I watch a few days a week. They are such cute little friends. Now that they both talk (Taylor seriously talks like she is a teenager - I'm not kidding) - I sit and listen to them have these adorable little 2 year old conversations, and I almost bust up laughing. They of course have their "terrible two" moments, but for the most part they sincerely care about each other. If one falls down, the other runs over to help them up. They say "thank you" and "you're welcome" to each other and hopefully they will be friends for life. I feel so blessed to have this sweet little girl in our home for a couple of days each week. Love you Taylor!

One project down....

Well...it took a while, but I finally got all of these frames hung up. It's a project I've been thinking about for a long time...and thanks to my very good friend Jackie...we got it done! (we did it last month, but I forgot to blog about it). So THANK YOU JACKIE! It wasn't easy with hammers, measuring tapes, nails, and 3 little kids running around! I couldn't have done it without her! Okay - so some of them look crooked in this picture...but I swear they look straight in real life!

A Valentine's to Remember

So I know I'm a few days behind on doing a Valentines post...oh well. Better late than never. I need to give a big THANK YOU to our good friends, the Cannons, for throwing such a fun Valentines Party. The kids had so much fun playing (and eating treats) all night. A lot of people came, which made it so much fun! I didn't include pics of everyone, because there were a ton of people..and.....my camera, of course died while at the party, so thanks to Jackie for letting me steal her pictures....lots of them...

One of my Favorites!

A few months back we were having a Girls Night at my friend Jenny's house, (actually watching another all time favorite "Sound of Music" - are we dorks?) and I saw this movie sitting on her shelf of DVD's UPOPENED! I couldn't believe she had never even seen it. It has been one of my favorites movies since I was young...but I hadn't seen it in such a long time - that I had kind of forgotten about it...well not forgotten..but you know what I mean...so I borrowed it (and have yet to return it to her...whoops...hee hee...), then last week I saw the movie at my good friend, Jackie's house...She didn't have a choice but to watch it with me....I just love it! I told my husband that one day (many years from now) we need to go to that hotel! It looks so amazing! If you haven't seen it...you definitely need to. - warning - it is kind of depressing...but most good love stories are at some point....

Damon has also informed me that he really likes this movie, and he has tried to pull it off our shelf to get me to watch it with him...kind of funny....
