Life in the East: 6 months

I know I recently did an updated picture of Brixton but I just honestly can't understand how the last 6 months have gone by so quickly. It doesn't seem real to me. We sure do love this kid and can't believe what an amazing little guy he is. We love his gigantic smile - even if it isn't the most photogenic look, we love his big big blue eyes, his sweet giggle, the way he's always trying to talk to us, and we even love his lack of interest in moving around! He's a wonderful boy and we are so lucky that he's ours.

"When I'm a Dad, I'm gonna let my kids choose whatever they want to do"

After I snitched some grapes from him he said "I wish you didn't have hands"

"This was the best day of my whole life!"
"I'm just killing this game!" - while majorly beating me in a game of memory
"That's disappointing, isn't it...."

"I wish we had a hot tub instead of a house"
"Mom, maybe you can chap stick your eye brows to make them prettier" - (he means put mascara on my eyelashes)
"When I marry my girlfriend I will really really really miss you"
"I love you more than my girlfriend & more than everyone else"
"I can't talk right now, I'm too busy stretching"
"Whoa! This is a very juicy apple!"
"When I grow up I want to be a rock star and a scientist. Isn't that great we can be more than one thing!"
"This is yummier than I thought it would be" (orange soda)
"I will really miss Brixton when I get married"
"I will never forget about you when I grow up"
"I think you are a wonderful woman"
"Mommy, maybe we should set up a dance stadium. Me and Dad can do it. We'll need some special helpers like Chris and Scott. They can bring their tool boxes."

while spinning around the room...he asks me "are you getting dizzy mom?"
(referring to Mike) - "Look at his legs, they're pretty old"
"My heart is beeping faster, that's why I gotta run"
